WHO WE ARE
We are a group of volunteers committed to helping cats and kittens who are homeless and in need of medical attention and a forever home. All cats & kittens in our care are examined by our vet, tested for feline Leukemia, treated with revolution, vaccinated (first vaccinations for kittens), and if needed, treated for other medical needs they may require. Also, all are spayed or neutered prior to adoption.
The program is run by volunteers and operates solely on donations & fundraising.

MIREYA
Mireya's biopsy results are in, and she has been diagnosed with an auto immune disorder which is not contagious, but does mean she will require a very dedicated home. Basically her immune system is attacking her body, so she is on a course of treatment, on the advice of Dr Poirier, to see if it can be controlled. We are not giving up on this fine lady as she fought so hard to survive against the odds, and we will do everything in our power to give her a comfortable life.
This photo shows her progress in a one week span on her medication, coupled with a proper diet. We can clearly see improvements. She is much brighter, more active, and her face is healing, which gives us hope

Riley's Legacy Cat Rescue is not an open-door shelter. We are a no-kill rescue group with a maximum number of cats that we can afford, both financially and physically, to care for. We do not have a dedicated building but use foster homes throughout Moncton, Riverview & Dieppe NB. The number of cats we can allow into our program is directly related to the number of cats that we adopt into loving homes, thus freeing up a foster home to allow another cat in need to come into care

Our sponsorship program invites individuals, businesses, companies, or families to share in the cost of care for our cats and kittens for the length of time they are in our care. In exchange we will dedicate your sponsorship in memory of a beloved pet or loved one and your name and dedication will be included in your sponsored cat or kitten's listing.
Sponsorships in the amount of $50.00, towards a cat or kitten of your choice will assist with the daily care of the animals including food, litter, along with vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, disease testing, any necessary antibiotics or medications, spay/neuter procedure, and many other vet care expenses incurred.
Photos of our cats & kittens in care are posted on our page (in the adoption album) with the sponsor's name, dedication, and link to website if available.
